Schedule of Events
FRIDAY, MAY 17, 2002:
- Camp will be open by noon. Tech inspections between 7-9pm.
SATURDAY, MAY 18, 2002:
Tech inspections 6:30-8am. TEAMS will begin departing at 8am. Departure times will be determined by a random selection process of pre-registered TEAMS. Late entries will leave last. That evening around 9pm there will be a night exercise.
SUNDAY, MAY 19, 2002:
We will wrap-up the main competition by 10 a.m. Sunday. From here we will take the top 5 or 6 Teams and have a run-off in the camp area using Special Tasks. This will make a pressure packed ending which, will be fun to watch for everyone.
TEAMS begin departing very early. Score cards turned in by 10:00 AM. Top 4-6 teams will have run-off of tasks in camp area. Lunch will be provided. Everything should be all wrapped up by 2 or 3 pm.
WHERE TO GO:
Go west on Highway 26 out of Portland. Take the highway 6 exit towards Tillamook. The campground turnoff is 3/4 miles west of Lee's Camp on the right. (Lee's Camp Store is now open.) Take the Jones Creek exit and follow the signs from there. The only facilities at camp will be port-a-potties. Gas is available 20 miles back (East) at the 76 station you passed or down the road in Tillamook.
